Each year 16, 189 people are killed and 327,00 people are injured due to someone driving under the influence of alcohol, and that is only in America. Drinking is something that many people do nowadays. Often times when someone is drunk they do not know exactly what they are doing. When someone gets drunk they put themselves and others in danger. Some can act aggressive towards other or they may think that they could be immortal and do what they please without anything bad happening to them.  They are wrong.
      Many people decide to drink because they think that it can make them look cool. Others may use it to help them feel relaxed when they are having a bad day or simply because they just like to drink. Drinking can become addicting and that is something that can put many lives in danger. Some people tend to forget finding a designated driver when they are out drinking. That is usually the cause of an accident waiting to happen.
      I have not had something to terrifying as a personal experience, but it is something to be aware about. One night, it was my family and I. We were all about doing our own business in the house. All of the sudden we heard a loud crashing noise outside of the house. It even made the house shake a little. My father went outside to see what had caused such a loud noise. It turned out to be a man who was driving while he was drunk and he had run into the basketball post outside of our house with his car. Of course my mom called the police and they came and took the man along with his car. The thing about this is that if the basketball post had not been there could he have hit the house and house and hurt us? I am just thankful it was there and it prevented the hit to be far less worse than what it could have been.

       This is a social issue that most people would be aware and concerned about. There are many signs on the streets and highways about drinking while driving and others about being careful about the road. That is one way to take a photo explaining this issue. A car that was damaged due to an accident from someone who was driving while under the influence would be another. A family crying due to losing a loved one because someone decided to drive after having a couple drinks can be a pretty powerful picture as well. The best solution is to simply just not drink or do not drink and drive. If you do decide to drink, make sure to find a trusted designated driver who is sober to drive you where you need to be to prevent others as well as your own life in danger.
